The plot

Edward is a man who was made by an inventor. Unfortunatly, he hasn’t been completed. Therefore edward has scissors instead of having hands. One day, Peg, a woman selling cosmetics ventures into the castle where Edward lives. She will take him to live with her and will try to integrate him into the city.

But it’ s not so simple.

Best bits

All the scenes with J. Depp are great ! But when every women of the district are here for a barbecue, and they force him to eat big shot tablespoon, the genius of Tim Burton and Johnny Depp peaked !

The scenes with Joyce are brilliant too.

Fave characters

The character of Johnny Depp is really amazing. His make up, dress, hair are very, very touching and a little bit scary ! It’s quite similar to an other movie by Tim Burton entitled Sleepy Hollow.

Any weak bits ?

I thought the moment of the burglary is not very original and lacks actions (strange for a robbery ! ). Dialogues are much less relevant.

Hit or miss

Hit ! This film is very poetic and sometimes romantic. The sets are fabulous and amazing. You do not get bored for a second !
